Canterbury / Come on England

When Canterbury took over as kit sponsor of the England rugby team they asked us to come up with some promo teasers. They wanted to show England rugby as an inclusive family in which the fans and the groundsmen are as important as the captain. We brought in one of our brilliant creatives and came up with the big idea:
the England is all tagline

and 10 x 10-second teasers, each with a line from a powerful VO script.
A manifesto film combined the teasers into a 90-second spot. Shoots included England captain, Chris Robshaw, backroom staff at Twickenham, England women’s full-back, Danielle Waterman, and officials at Drybrook RFC. David Bailey shot the campaign stills.

Lacoste / C’est le pied

La Chaussure Lacoste asked us to help launch their spring/summer 2013 collection at Lacoste’s global conference in Paris. Our idea was to celebrate

the designers and their creations in a split-screen format using a combination of stop-frame and live action set to an upbeat soundtrack. Voila.

Purina / Doggy, doggy

We like dogs – and they seem to like us. A five second tag, shot for a Bakers dog-food TV commercial, follows 27 doggy docs for Purina. The briefs ranged from mini documentaries

on pets and owners to interviews with Purina scientists on the virtues of good nutrition. Make no bones about it, we’re masters of live dog action. Any breed, anywhere. Woof, woof.

Where it all started. Our first film was picked up by Channel 4 as a 3Minute Wonder and shown widely including on the BFI 25th anniversary reel.
