How are cancer patients coping during Covid?
C4 News commission to make a film with cancer patients. I had to find contributors and then find a way of filming them safely. So, I directed most of the contributors to film themselves in their homes. Then I interviewed each over zoom. I drove to Kent to film cancer sufferer Beth Purvis so that the film was not all on zoom. To keep Beth safe, I wore PPE, sanitised all my kit in front of her and filmed at a distance from her garden while she remained inside her house.
