Channel 4 was asked to be the principle media partner for the 2021 competition, so C4 News asked Dave to make a piece looking at the climate emergency working with the selected images. He filmed UK photographer Mick Watson and scientists at The Natural History Museum. Those photographers overseas Dave directed to film themselves and interviewed them remotely. Finally he penned the script for Jon Snow to voice.
